Glow plugs can easily be tested with a jumper wire from the battery. Just unhook each one and touch the unconnected plug terminal on the glow plug with the live jumper wire. Battery indicator comes on with voltage at 5/6 v then it flip to Glow Plug indicator with control release solenoid activated (clicking nose at the foot paddle) than immediately returns to battery indicator.

Is there a way adding switch and activateing the glow plugs for a few seconds before starting the motor?
