After 1 hour of digging a hill side of relatively soft dirt I noticed the blade was snapped in half near the center of the bucket. Most of the grapple discussions I have read indicate a narrow grapple is as good and in some cases better than a wider one. My experience has been limited to the 60" RK5. In my opinion the RK5 would be well or better suited for a 50 .

This led me to look at the more discount online brands like Titan, and specifically their 60” ss root grapple (Titan 60" Extreme Skid Steer Root Grapple Rake Attachment). More than k less than the competition, but still gets good reviews. I contacted MTL Attachments and they kept giving excuses like my machine was too big, (old 1999 New Holland Lx885 60 HP) which it is not. Then they said I had over the tire tracks on it which disqualified it for the bucket.
