An 1850 ROC machine with good tires will run a 10 foot box. Dedicated snow tires help, but we've run Arctic boxes for several years on regular skid tires. A lot of this equation depends on the box you want. A cheap ass 8' rubber edge box will work a 2500 ROC skid, where a nice box like Arctic or Metal Pless will just start to work the smaller . I would get whatever would get more use outside of snow season. Truck would be faster. angle plow on skid would let you easily push the piles in sideways if snow got deep. careful turning to much and chewing up the asphalt with a skid if not frozen. I can't find much on them. The pricing new is comparable to a used brand name one with 3k hours on them. Essentially all I need is something for snow plowing this one lot (3 year contract), spreading mulch (3 year contract), and the occasional regrading or installing a gravel parking area and the occasional odd job.

Skid Steer or Compact Track Loader 2. Box blade, Plow, or Snow bucket 3. Engine size/HP 4. Manufacturer recommended & reason why And we have some time the majority of the time to plow the entire lot (opens at 9). My hope\plan is that on snowfalls under 6-7" I can skip having the loader\pusher run up there, but the 244 is a good fit for both accounts. We had a tractor with 8611\Ebling up there 2 years ago, worked great but that was before the parking lot reconfiguration.
