The whole time I was thinking about purchasing some over the tire tracks. I would own a set of over the tire tracks, but I have an odd-ball sized tire (31.5x13x16.5). If I bought a set of tracks, I'd have to purchase new wheels and tires also :realmad: Thomas, Does McClaren now offer any tracks to fit my size tires (31.5x13x16.5) on a 773T . I've got over the tire tracks and love them. The dealer did discuss with me that they put more stress on your drive components of your loader. And you can tell the loader strains a little with tracks. I try to run my machine without them as much as possible, to reduce the stress on the machine. I'd go tracks for any grading, you get a lot more area on the ground to keep ya stable. I don't even rent the wheeled ones anymore. Traction limited, bouncy, tougher to grade with. The over the tire tracks are interesting but you still have potentially flats to deal with, and the wheelbase remains about the same. Worst case scenario, take the tracks off before you take it in for warranty work. Most warranties are only 1 year anyway, wait a year then put the tracks on. Does the Magneson Moss act cover manufacturers warranties on heavy equipment? How many people have broken components as a result of over the tire track use or the VTS system.
Anyone have expirence with the Protrac Over the tire rubber tracks. Thinking of ordering a set here soon. Just curious what sort of traction i could expect from the rubber and also how are they on turf. The rubber pads are bolt on so they can be replaced.
