ihmadness or anyone else out there know where and how to drain the engine oil on that 4140 skid steer with the Chrysler 4 cylinder gas engine? I did buy a manual for servicing the skid steer, but we are in the middle of moving and all my books are packed away so far, it might be months before I can lay my hands on them. Many, if not most, were built by Vickers. In all cases (mine, that is) the pumps have been SAE two-bolt flange and standard spline shaft.
Sonny, you are correct Hydra Mac did make all 4000 & 4100 series loaders for IH.The 3200A, 3200B & 3300B were made at a diff. place I think in Wisconsin or Minn. and are non HYDRA MAC. I recently obtained a 4136 IH skid steer, same machine as a Hydra-Mac 9C lll. Has the cutest little 2 cyl Isuzu diesel in it. Seems to run good and hydraulics and hydrostats all seem good, so far. I remember seeing Hydra Macs back in the late seventies and thinking they were just an off brand not knowing at the time that they made skid steers for several different companies. The Repower was not to bad of a job. Had to build a pedestal for the engine to mount on because of shaft location.

proper way to load a skid steer on a trailer
Basically, bulk of work a safe distance from the foundation, then by hand the rest of the way. Excavator will probably be good for digging the pit for the new sump too.
