Very first skid steer I ran was in 1978 and it was a Case Uniloader with hand controls--the bucket worked on one hand lever and the boom on the other. A couple years later dad bought a New Holland L445 with foot controls. That was very easy to use and I was quite proficient with it.

Love CAT joystick controls, hand+feet Bobcat controls. Old Case mechanical over hydros are ok, but the electric over hyro is a bit too touchy for me.
