I get home and my CAT coolant is red and the coolant in my machine is green. So, can a guy mix the two? I understand that coolant technology has now developed to allow this in passenger vehicles, but I am proceeding with caution before I start to screw this up.In order to avoid potential damage to your Cat Cat engine, only purchase Cat fluids and Cat filters through your Cat dealer or Cat authorized outlets. If it's green the original coolant has been replaced at some time with regular anti-freeze. My vote would be to drain all the coolant, flush the system completely with water, and refill with coolant meeting Cat EC-1 specification. Are you sure of the type that is now in the machine?
